How Deep Can Hue Go?

Hello! Please don't be fooled by our stern and cold looks. We don't bite. We're just trying to take a little detour from all the brights and whites during this summer because who says we can't wear autumn-toned hues when the heat gets up to sizzling? Sometimes, we just have to get in touch with our darker sides...

Okay, yes, we all know that maroons, olives, navy blues, and blacks don't complement the summer heat too well. But if that's your thing, then let it be your thing! Why let the weather stop you? Besides, we can always make a few compromises when called for.

A bright-colored item always does the trick in giving that little bit of that summer feel to your look when you think it's gotten a bit too grungy. Adding a little variety of color to an item through patterns is a good idea as well. And, of course, let's not forget the existence of the rather underrated culottes. They're a good substitute to pants especially in a weather like this. And lightweight clothing is a good way to go to compensate for the dark colors on such outfits. I'm sure your closets are all full of sleeveless tops, crop tops, shorts, skirts — the list goes on and on — which still embrace the dingy look you're going for.

Make a boring old outfit interesting by wearing something with a cut-out or a pattern. For us, we chose to pair our plain tops with these funky bottoms. But who says you can't do the opposite? Pair a basic bottom with a daring top! 

When you want to go for a solid-colored ensemble, try a colored lipstick to brighten up not just the outfit but also your face. Lipsticks are a must in every girl's bag, right? Today, the "no make-up, only lipstick" is extremely trending. Just be sure to find the shade that suits you, and you're good to go!
