Afraid of damaged hair that's why you girls think twice of getting your hair colored? Not anymore! L'Oreal Professionnel now makes it possible for all women to dare trying whichever color transformation they desire, without the fear of damage. Hair coloring can mean different things to different women; some would prefer warm browns, others favor modern golden shades, and the more adventurous go for blonde. L'Oreal Professionnel has come up with their newest product, Smartbond, a hair color additive.
L'Oreal Professionnel has launched Smartbond in salons, while introducing the biggest trend in hair color this 2017 — Hair Contouring. In makeup, contouring is a technique used to achieve the ideal face shape. Hair contouring, likewise, is created by the stylist to talor-mix hair color that is strategically placed to enhance various face shapes. With the help of Matthew Collins, a world renowned hairstylist and master of balayage technique, he shows us how different hair styles and hair colors suit different face shapes.
Hair is made up of bonds, and it is when these bonds are weakened that lead to damage. Smartbond acts as a Bond Strengthening System, which works two ways during hair coloration. It restores weak bonds, and it protects the strong bonds.
Not only can women #FearNoDamage and pursue the hair color they've always dreamed of, they can do so without any additional time needed!
First, the Smartbond Additive is mixed by the hairstylist together with the hair color.
And second, the Pre-Shampoo is applied to remove residue in the hair that may contribute to further sensitization.
As a L'Oreal Professionnel International Ambassador, Matthew Collins travels across Canada and internationally to teach and present. His dedication to the art of hairstyling led him to be awarded L'Oreal Professionnel Canadian Runway Stylist of the Year. We were lucky enough to have witnessed his exceptional masterpiece and are definitely in awe. Hopefully, we'd be lucky enough to have him do something to our hair too!
Most recently, Matthew is the featured hairstylist on the expert panel of E! Network's Celebrity Style Story, and the official Hair Expert on CTV's flagship show "The Social" featuring easy DIY hairstyles.
Matthew also is the proud co-owner of Brennen Demelo Studios in the heart of downtown Toronto, and now has opened a second location in this hometown in north of Toronto.
This year, women can Dare All Color Transformations, achieve the perfect face shape with Hair Contouring, and #FearNoDamage, with Smartbond!
