Things to Do in London

Finally set foot to one of my dream destinations. After convincing my family for years to plan a trip to London after graduation, the day has finally come. One of the world's most visited cities, London has something for everyone: from history and culture to fine food and good times. It's what I actually look for when traveling to a new country.

Before we dive into it, an obligatory photo at the red telephone booth!

We started exploring the lively British capital and visited the city's famous landmarks namely Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, and St. Paul's Cathedral. The highlight is a visit to St. Paul's Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece built between 1675 and 1708.

Strolled around Notting Hill to look for the famous book store from the movie. Got to finally taste Ben's Cookies. Saw the Churchill Arms. Visited Covent Garden for some shopping and cafe stops.

Living like a local having lunch at Borough Market. It's so great to see different cuisines they have here! We had paella, mac & pulled pork, and kebab.

A trip to London wouldn't be complete without seeing the beautiful Tower Bridge and London Eye. Of course, we took the opportunity to take hundreds of photos! Big Ben, I'm coming back for you.

They say getting lost in another country is quite an experience. You get to meet new people, discover new places, and just take everything in on your own. But getting lost is actually a lot harder than you might think. No map, no way to contact your friends or family.

With Big Sky Nation's travel wifi, we got to connect to the internet, search for must-visit restaurants, use Google Maps, check the weather. It got us all prepared for another day to explore the city. For 10% discount on gadget and travel wifi rentals, you can use our code: PoshTravels.

Hope you like this post!

Much love,
Daphne
