As the sun sets and shows take over sartorial circuits, the most anticipated fashion event in the Philippines takes place. Manila Fashion Festival (MFF) continues to spread its wings with its bi-annual event staged and produced by Art Personas. The 4-day event takes place at The Marquee Tent in Edsa Shangri-La Manila last October 17-20.
Last season, we witnessed The Next in fashion as talented designers showcased their true artistry in a fashion showdown. This season, MFF takes you into a whole new dimension as power is at the centre of Beyond. Be part of the evolution and indulge in local, dominating fashion featuring the country's top designers and rising talents.
We attended MFF Day 1 and here are some snaps we took of our favorite looks from the show.
The show jumpstarts with Air Asia's Runway Ready finalists Esme Palaganas and Jerome Tayao while familiar names Anthony Ramirez, Rob Ortega, Veejay Floresca, Cheetah Rivera, Jaz Cerezo and Mia Arcenas take over the runway.
Celebrating their 9th year as the quintessential fashion bible for men, Garage features designers Ziggy Savella, Proudrace, Jinggo Inoncillo, Mark Tamayo, and LSW to introduce what's next in menswear. Making their debut on MFF's runway, Gyle gives us styling tips with their versatile, ready-to-wear collection for women.
This season, fashion gives back as Better Future Foundation (BFF) celebrates 10/20 Can-D day, a fight to give underprivileged children around the world who lack proper medical care a good health for a better future. Using fashion as a powerful platform, this is a tremendous opportunity to promote the cause and make a difference in the lives of children.
Manila Fashion Festival continues being at the forefront of the Philippines' fashion evolution with its official partners: AT Control, Bata, Philips, Aderans, Gyle, Korean Models Association, Zeal, Junca, M Tokyo, MAC Cosmetics, Kionchan, Grey Goose, Freego, Air Aisa, Oracle, Rue Bourbon, Edsa Shangri-La, Salvaje and Beat Box.
See for yourself what's Beyond in the Manila Fashion Festival this coming October 2017.

Much love,
