Who’s Back with a New Fragrance?

After two years away from the shelves, Guess Fragrances are making a huge comeback with its new line of fresh scents crafted for the young and adventurous. From the iconic global lifestyle brand, Guess Fragrances bring back the olfactive mix of playful, free-spirited California style with the sophisticated glamour and nostalgia of Mediterranean culture — a powerful combination for the tenacious millennial and the forever young.

To celebrate its unveiling and the return of Guess Fragrances, the brand launched with a '90s-style house party-inspired event called Eau Yes Guess, showcasing the multitude of scents in the true spirit of the House of Guess.

Expanding its fragrance portfolio, Guess introduces GUESS 1981, the new modern fragrance for women, inspired by the heritage of the brand and the classic elegance of the GUESS girls who remain iconic today. Perfumer Stephen Nilsen of Givaudan pays tribute to the brand's essence and created a fragrance that stood out for the modern woman who knows exactly what she wants.

GUESS 1981 celebrates different dimensions of the brand's heritage. The simple, understated fragrance also embodies L.A. lifestyle, where the brand was founded, and echoes notes of Southern Californian nature through clean, textured woods and airy, sensual musks. It opens with a powdery violet and woody ambrette, which later transforms into tantalizing jasmine petals, sweet juicy pear, and sandalwood heart.

Like a well-loved pair of vintage jeans, Guess also brings back its iconic scent GUESS DARE, which evokes confidence, sophistication, and sensuality. The floral-woody-musk composition of Guess Dare for Women provides a passionate cocktail of kumquat, lemon, and pear blossom which attracts attention and plays on exotic shades in a modern way; while the Guess Dare for Men possesses a woody-citrus formulation, and a masculine concoction of bergamot, white pepper, geranium, and juniper berry.

Guess Fragrances are now available at select Rustan's, SM, Landmark, and Robinsons Department Stores.

Hope you found this post nostalgic!

Much love,
Candis & Daphne
