Who here likes to travel? Who here brings their whole skincare with them when traveling? Between hiking trips, beach getaways, and staycations, we've always brought our bottles of skincare products. Of course, we want to avoid having excess baggage and have space for whatever we buy on a trip. But it's no packing light. When we pack our skincare, we'd think of what are the most basic things we need to pack on our carry-on baggage. Other than that would be secondary necessities that can be packed in our luggages.
Being one of the smaller FOREO skincare products, LUNA play plus packs up more neatly in a carry-on bag than the other LUNA varieties, and with the lower price point, you wouldn't feel guilty of wasting money when you lose them while on a trip.
The LUNA play plus uses T-Sonic pulsation technology, producing up to 8,000 pulses per minute channeled through the silicone brush. It removes 99.5% of dirt, oil, dead skin cells, and makeup residue, enhancing absorption of skincare products. The non-porous silicone helps it to dry quickly and prevent the growth of bacteria, and is 35 times more hygienic than nylon bristles. It has a 2-zone brush head, like the LUNA mini 2, to target different areas of your face.
On the LUNA play plus, the knobs come in two sizes: there are larger ones at the tip which are meant to be used on the T-zone, and smaller ones around the rest of the tool that are meant for the rest of the face.
Many other FOREO products, like the LUNA 2, have multi-speed functions where you're able to adjust the frequency of pulsations, however, this product is one-speed and it doesn't have a timer. Its speed is on the gentle to mid range on the strength scale. LUNA play plus is powered by a AAA battery. Unlike other LUNA devices that are rechargeable.
FOREO's unique design makes the device completely waterproof so it's suitable to be used in the shower.
How easy is it to use? You just apply your favorite cleanser to your damp skin, turn your LUNA play plus on, and gently massage all parts of your skin in a circular motion for a minute. Rinse off, pat dry, and moisturize for super soft skin that lasts all day!
After using the LUNA play plus for weeks, we noticed that our skin is less clogged. There's not much of a difference during this short trial period, but our skin has been clear and unproblematic so far.
We're really enjoying the FOREO LUNA play plus, and it's probably the cleansing tool that fits best into our sometimes-lazy skincare routine. It's a nice way to get a face massage in as well!
