What Helps Us Be Productive at Work

There's a difference between being busy and being productive. We'd always believe that the busier we are, the more successful we are. But that's not entirely true. Busy isn't how we want our lives to be. We want to have the time for things that matter while also giving enough time to everything we need to do.

Sometimes working too much can make you less productive, rather than being creative. You should set some time for relaxation and peace so that you can clear your mind and have new ideas.

The first hour of work is a powerful time. It's a time that sets the tone for your day; you can spend it doing busy work, or do productive work. We usually arrive half an hour before everyone else, just so that we could finish unfinished tasks if we need to. We carry a planner or a calendar and list down tasks we need to do. Just having a simple checklist of all the things you need to do in one week can help a lot! Go through it at the end of every day to make sure you're right on track.

It's important to use your time wisely. We don't want work to feel like work! So the best way to enjoy your work is when you love what you do. Never let work take over your life. But honestly, it's so easy to let tasks spill out across your weekends and into your evenings. Try to do as much as you could with the time you have at work. Always remember, time at work is already long, so don't bring work home!

Hope this little reminder helps you get through a day at work!

Much love,
