It Comes Neutrally

Being out of the house almost everyday, people ought to always look their best because although more often than not we think we won't get recognized by anyone, we never really know when we might expect to meet someone. But for those of you who mind giving the same amount of effort into everyday from when you dress up on those occasional days when you do actually plan to see someone, neutrals are the way to go. Well, even if you're one that wouldn't really mind, neutrals are still often the way to go because let's be honest, besides the fact that they are easy on the eyes and easier to match with each other, they allow us to play it safe every now and then.

Apart from being everyday pieces, neutrals are worn best if you want to give an impression of being taken seriously at the same time to project a classy image. Plain yet powerful, dressing in neutral tones has always been a go-to whenever we have to look well-dressed but feel lazy to match colors. It easily looks effortless but in a refined way. Here are three ways we wore neutrals...

Any blazer paired with a bottom that matches its color is a ticket to classy-town or wherever it is that people look very polished and yet stylish. However, going with an all-nude ensemble gets a tad bit tricky, as it tends to look flat. Add a little depth by using a few key pieces to shake things up such as, for this one, the shirt. The shirt is not the same shade as the rest of the outfit but closely resembles that of it, which still retains the uniformity but adds, as aforementioned, depth. Along with that are the black shoes which ironically add a pop of color. Accessories such as the fringy clutch, the belt, and the watch also help. Try using these tricks on different shades of neutral colors!

Culottes were one of the popular styles worn by the European upperclass men during the early nineteenth century. Nowadays, it can be worn by females too. In fact, most males cannot be seen wearing this now trendy piece, and it's women that are often caught wearing them. It's now considered to be a very fashionable piece and is now also considered as a must have in every girls' closet because you can wear it at a semi formal event, brunch with the family, dates, work — practically anywhere — and it's an effortless way to upgrade your outfit.

Crop tops and high waisted trousers are a great match whenever feeling a little playful yet sophisticated. A black vest or even one that matches the tone of your trousers is a great way to finish up your look because any structured piece can really polish it up. Try to experiment with different structured pieces to get the polished look that you want. As for shoes, ever notice how pointy ones can instantly add sophistication to any outfit? Which is why pointy heels always equals classy.
