3 Ways to Wear Waterfall Skirts

When we have those dilemmas on what's appropriate to wear to a casual dinner party, or a fancy event without looking too overdressed or underdressed, chances are we may end up wearing what we are trying to avoid wearing. Our tip for you is to grab a double-purpose skirt, like this waterfall skirt. It's not a long, formal skirt, and it's not a casual, mini skirt -- it's the right mix of both! You can style it whichever way, formal or casual.

Today, we are going to show you how we style waterfall skirts in three different ways.

Something as bright as this salmon-colored skirt ought to be counterbalanced by some neutrals. In this case, black and white came into rescue. Having donned a tight-fit top, the upper body could use a little more weight to bring back proportions. A good piece to add would be a coat, preferably lightweight unless you would dare bear sweating buckets only a few minutes into the party. Credits to the pointy pumps for boosting the daintiness and sophistication of this ensemble.

Wearing your top and bottom in the same color tone makes your outfit seem effortless and clean. It's a more formal way of dressing because it looks like a single piece. You can attend formal or semi-formal events with this look. It all depends on how you mix and match your clothes. Balance out the look with neutral colored heels.

Neutral colors are flexible, you can always style them in a playful or serious way. Navy is considered one of the neutral and universal colors -- it matches with any color! It looks almost black, therefore, very chic. So for those who can't wear black to a birthday party, go for navy. Off shoulder tops make an outfit look soft and flirty, yet relaxed and cool. These tops can be styled in many ways, from denim cutoffs to a waterfall skirt. And because we want to keep everything in this outfit neutral, go for nude shoes.

Still don't have this piece in your closets? Then go right down to the mall or order online and get one now! We'll be happy to see how you style yours. Hope you liked this post!
