And every time it's time to cut our hair, we'd feel scared that something might go wrong. It sucks to have to cut your hair when you don't want to. However, it is sometimes necessary for you to get a haircut, especially if you want to keep your hair strong and healthy. We have gone through layered hair, side swept bangs, bob, and long bob. We never really thought we're the type of people who could experiment with hair styles but we're so glad we did. Now, we know what we like and what suits us. For us, our hair is a way to present yourself. When you like how you look, you exude confidence. It's also important to find the salon that you can trust with you hair. And since we like to keep up with hair trends, we want a salon that's also updated with what's in! It was our first time at Hairshaft Salon at Podium, and we didn't know what to expect. Will they achieve our hair pegs? At first, we didn't have a specific peg in mind. We just wanted a color that's natural, not too bold. So their hair stylist, Miguel, suggested some colors that would suit us. As for the cut, we browsed through their Instagram to see previous clients' hair. We also checked Pinterest and other celebrity hair styles. And we made our decision!

Daphne: Lightening process

Since the color I decided on was a natural brown base with subtle highlights, they had to apply a lightening cream to achieve the highlights, which is like the bleaching process.

Candis: Dyeing process

I went for a darker brown color for my hair, since my previous hair color already faded. They use products from L'Oreal, Wella, Davines, and Bedhead.

Daphne: After lightening

Here, you can see the outcome after the lightening process. The streaks of gold are the highlights.

Candis: Treatment after dyeing

As always, there has to be a treatment after you dye your hair to prevent damage.

Daphne: Dyeing process

After lightening, they do the base color and hair treatment. They use L'Oreal and Kerastase products like treatment hair masks.
