How To Rock a Red Makeup Look

In case you missed it, The Face Shop recently collaborated with Coca Cola. You can now get your hands on the much-awaited makeup collection! It includes bold lipsticks, vibrant lip tints, a stunning eyeshadow palette, and a compact cushion all packaged in Coca Cola inspired casing. And as expected from the beloved K-beauty brand, this project with Coke won't disappoint when it comes to packaging. Who wouldn't want to collect them all? We've definitely been wanting to get a hold of the whole collection 'cause they're so cute!

The Oil Control Water Cushion promises to smooth skin and control oil. So this is something you can use for a natural base makeup. Its consistency is like a light emulsion, somewhat liquid, which makes it easy to blend. Using this, you get a coverage that is light to medium. What's surprising is that it sets into a semi-matte finish and doesn't require a lot of blending skills to even out. This is good for everyday use since it's not too thick. You don't want to feel cakey on a normal day out!

As soon as we opened this palette, we instantly fell in love with the colors. We could just stare at them all day! Of course, we were too excited so we used them the next day. The colors are very pigmented and easy to blend. You can wear just one shade on the lids, or mix two to three shades. What we love about this is that the colors match every skin tone. And even though there are darker shades such as red or maroon, they can still work for an everyday eye makeup.

The lipstick we got is an orange red shade. At first, we thought that it might not suit us, but it is actually brightening. Some orange lipstick shades would make our skin seem tan, which was what made us unsure about it. This, however, is totally opposite. The finish is semi-matte, which is good since it's not too drying. It doesn't stay long though, so you have to reapply.

Okay, this product was what we've been excited to try out! The Bear Tint is a pigmented jelly tint. You can use it on the cheeks, lips, and even the eyes. It wasn't what we expected since what we were looking forward to was something that would blow our minds. But it's just normal, not bad but not great. The tint dries fast and its staying power is okay. You just have to blend the product fast because it leaves a mark when applied directly onto the face.

The lipstick and the lip tint both smell like Coke!

We were going for a red makeup look so that we could use all the products. But we didn't want to look super red so we balanced the colors out. And here's how it turned out!
