Clinique Pop: Brighter & Bolder

The season of bold lip colors has finally come and beauty lovers everywhere are extremely in celebratory mode. Putting on a bold lipstick is one of the quickest and easiest ways to add instant drama and sophistication to any look. Wearing a vivid color lip with barely any other makeup — just mascara, brows, and a light blush — is the way to rock it! Be it pinks, reds, or something a little bolder, bright lips are up on the A-list!

Still feeling like it's not for you? You must have felt uncomfortable and iffy. Yeah, same goes for us. Embracing the bold lip color can be quite a tricky prospect if you aren't used to wearing it. But finding a shade that suits you can go a long way! The most essential advice for pulling off bright lips is getting the right color. Anyone can wear any color of lipstick, as long as you find the right shade for your skin tone. Having that pop of color can brighten up your look, giving you that fresh and confident glow!

Clinique probably wouldn't be the top-of-mind brand at all when a friend asks you for an opinion about where to find bright lipsticks. Most of us associate Clinique with skin care products, but there's more to Clinique than just that. They offer a wide range of beauty products from skin care to makeup. It is a one-stop shop for all the beauty lovers out there! Who would've thought they'd think of launching one of the most impressive and innovative bright lipsticks?

What we love about the new Clinique Pop Lip Colour + Primer is that it is a 2-in-1 product since it's both a lip primer and lipstick! You don't have to bring a lip primer or a lip balm to prime your lips. It's all in one go! And hey, these lippies are super moisturizing because of the formula they usually put in a primer! Well enough of you waiting, here they are!

Cake Pop is described as a "light pinky nude", which is perfect for everyday use. It is definitely a must have to your growing collection of nudes.

Flame Pop is described as a "bright blue red" which is a kind of red that suits every skin tone similar to the Mac Ruby Woo because of its bluish red hue that makes your teeth seem whiter.

Rose Pop is described as a "rich rosy pink" which is best suited for people who want a semi- bold lip color.

In our opinion, we think that the lipstick is a quite pricey compared to those other brands out there in the market, but with its promising features like its long-lasting and moisturizing effect on the lips, we say it's worth every penny! Little-to-no reapplication is needed.

The matte and liquid suede lipstick costs ₱ 1,100.00 each.
