Okay, here's another Althea unboxing session! We know you all love seeing what we receive from beauty boxes like this, so your wishes are granted. While you guys love having a peek at our beauty boxes, we, at the same time, love unboxing them for the first time and seeing what surprises await us.
A little vocabulary session before we start. Did you know that Chok Chok in Korea means "moist skin?" And that's what we always see in Koreans' face, dewy and glowing. Althea's Chok Chok Box products are designed to help our skin get all the moisture we need due to the changing weather that makes our skin dry. During a hot and humid weather, you don't want your face feeling dehydrated and flaky. Might we ask, do you bring a facial mist inside your bag? If no, then maybe you should start carrying one! This Laneige Water Bank Mineral Skin Mist is made up of water and minerals that help your skin retain its moisture when applied. It feels refreshing when spritzed to the face and has a very good scent. Plus, it's very handy because it's compact and travel-sized.
When you put on makeup, do you sometimes feel that your products make your skin dry? W.Lab Water Hole Color Cushion (#23) feels refreshing when applied. Unlike other cushions, it gives a cooling sensation and does not feel drying and cakey at all. This gives you a medium coverage and has UV protection formula.
If you're into Benefit's Porefessional Primer, this one is the Korean counterpart. Dr. Young silky primer helps us to reduce the appearance of our pores while making sure that our skin stays soft and hydrated. This product smells good unlike the usual primer that gives off that makeup scent.
And what's better than a face mask to help you keep the moisture in your skin! B&Soap Glacial Water Mask gives you the instant hydration you need. It has a scent, though, that may not be suitable to some type of skin.
Milky Dress Coral Pop Tint is one of our favorite products in this collection. Lip and cheek tints are our besties when we are just going out for a casual shopping spree, or a movie date. We don't want to put too much makeup because it's not like people will be taking photos of you. We just love coral shades since it suits our skin well. It makes our face glow even without putting any makeup on.
This A'Pieu Coral Blusher is best used together with the Milky Dress Coral Pop Tint to achieve that K-drama look that we are all aiming for. It's very pigmented so a little product goes a long way!
