Prima Donna

Don't you have days when you feel like dressing in a classy manner? But not so much as it starts to look stiff, uptight, and even blah. We all have those moments when we think we need a little extra grooming and sophistication in the way we fix ourselves up, don't we? 'Cause we sure do! Today we went for little less "everyday" and little more "polished" and had a chance to play with colors, to bring out bolder items, and basically to channel our inner prima donnas — in order to balance out the seriousness of the typical polished look. But who says you can't put just as much attitude in your everyday's? And here are today's looks...

A good shade of emerald green (albeit muted) is a surefire eye candy for those in need of a fresh addition to your getup's or wardrobe's palette. When trying to look sleek but far from boring, try a single-tone paired with a detailed if not loud piece. This will create a good balance between sleek and not boring. Keep in mind the colors as well: the more uniform the colors look, the more you lean toward sleek. Most importantly, bring out your own creativity and have fun!

Try to invest in pieces that will be used for a long time. This white pencil skirt is a perfect example. You could use this for different occasions like a girl's night out or your friend's birthday party. Be creative and have fun in experimenting because there are a lot of looks that you could achieve with this simple white skirt. Adding a top with a touch of lace makes your outfit look classy and effortless.

Never forget the power of pleats! Whether you’re going mini, midi or maxi, you’ll score big style points with this piece. It can automatically make your outfit look elegant, even when you're just wearing your pajama shirt as your top! Picking out a bright colored pleated skirt is enough to catch attention. So simply pair it with a light colored top and minimize the use of accessories. Last but not the least, the ever-so-classy pointed pumps is a must when you're going for the sophisticated look.
